About Me
My name is Cam and I am a recent graduate of the three year Software Development program at Mohawk College in Hamilton. Beyond my education, I have spent several years building and broadening my skillset as a Developer.
My experience as a full-stack developer ranges from working with modern javascript frameworks, designing and improving UI for web apps, writing SQL queries to build reports, and using AI tools in chabots and facial recognition software.

Projects

Car Maintenance App
This app served as my capstone project and allows a family to track car maintenance appointments. The backend is a REST API built with Laravel and the frontend is built using CodeIgniter with Bootstrap, and includes basic authentication.
Facial Recognition App
I was the sole contributor to this Mohawk College research project. This is a facial recgnition application written in Python and using the Deepface framework. The Python application is integrated into a PHP MVC website that includes a MySQL database and an image gallery.
Coin Collector Chatbot
This is a Mohawk College group research project I was a member of. The chabot logic was written with Python and incorporates ChatGPT API for the conversation functionality. The chatbot application is then integrated into a Laravel webapp.
